Ummmmm, you might not want to let Panache wear brown with that Nightstalker, maybe a really red-ish brown, probably the same for the Black Stewart.

The Leatherneck tartan cannot be surpassed, but that's just my opinion. I own one, and it's not only appropriate for old jarheads, it's fine for anyone who wishes to strike a dashing figure. (Reckon Panache fits the bill on that one? . . . Duh!)

And anyone is welcome to wear the Leatherneck, no service required. It has very fine colors, matches with just about anything, and it isn't overdone like the Black Stewart. The Black Stewart--albeit a fine tartan--is too . . . how shall I say it? . . . black and red!

Jim, your in Conyers, (too close to Athens,) and you don't like red and black?

I voted for MacLaren, but I always vote for Maclaren.

I voted for the night stalker. If Panache gets a black Stewart, I will have to sell mine!

    I second...er.....third....er.....whatever....BLACK STWEART!

Mostly because I think it's pretty darn sharp looking.

But also a wee bit because my father hammered into my head from a very young age the mantra "if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy"

I say re-use... why not keep wearing an "old friend"?

(personally, I'm partial to Hawaiian shirt fabric kilts... but that's just me)

I'm with CactusJack and SexyB. If Panache wants the Irish National, then Panache should get the Irish National! Well, as long as it isn't the last size 34! I've been twarted by genetic procrastination twice now - once by the wife and once by the Mother-in-law. *sigh* Some day I'll get my Irish National...

With some slight retrospection, I realize the main reason behind this decision probably has something to do with a lifetime of family members asking me what I want for a birthday or Christmas present and me taking the time to respond with a comprehensive list and then said family member buying me whatever they wanted to get me anyway.

If I had to go with something else, though, I'd go with the Weathered Mackenzie. Oh, dang. That's not an option on the pole, either, is it!

Guess it will have to be a random choice...

Boy it sure would be a nice surprise to get one of the nice tartan kilts she wants and one of the ones I suggested.

    Just a (hopeful) thought!
