In a few hours I will be on my way. Had to pack light as I'm taking a float plane to Victoria first. Seats are at a premium so I have standing room on the pontoon. We shall see how the leather kilt holds up on the flight over.

Forecast isn't too good, Robert. Expect high winds over the Gulf Islands and gusting at landing in Victoria. May I suggest 1K lead weights at all four corners? See you Saturday after a calm and pleasant sail back to the mainland.

Yes the flight was delayed by 20 minutes. In spite of the low ceiling I had a wonderful flight from Van to Victoria. The pilot had his work cut out for him. At times we were a hundred feet above the water then above the cloulds. It was wonderful.
Steve gave my friend and I a personal tour of the museum, just grand it was.
Had a great dinner at Steve's and Bobbies. Then went out to a pub to meet a friend who is a tech at the Royal theatre. Victoria was a hopping with young night life. There was even a parade in front of Steve's house without BAGPIPES how cool is that. I've been up for nearly 24 hours later tonight in Langly and meet the rabble what fun!
    Cheers
    Robert
