Is it popping it when you let the air back in? I don't know...
Now that I think about it, that would be funny.  It would suddenly expand under the cat as it filled with air.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

more like pop, cat jumps off, and hisssssssss as it slowly refills.
