It was miserable outside and very difficult to get a good photo. But there were 11 kilted guys outside my shop
And finally one in Fosters. A number of the rabble went home because of the weather and wanted to travel home safely. Much beer wine and scotch was consumed in a responsible way.
Many thanks to all who attended personally and virtually. I really had a great time. The shop has survived!
Cheers
Robert

It's good to hear the zeppelin is on the move.

Here's my other picture from the night - a warmer, drier rabble in Robert's shop:
Ken, Robert's wife (whose name I'm embarrassed to admit that I have already forgotten - sorry), Hendry, Rick, Robert's apprentice (whose name I've also forgotten), Kevin, Branwyn (sp?; Robert's youngest), Randy, and last but not least - Robert.
As for the virtual visitors that I saw - Alec, it was good to hear your voice again; and Graham, it was good to finally have a voice to put with your face.

Robert
I just wanted to say again what wonderful time Linda and I had, and to let you know that David, Linda and myself made it home safely after staying the night. Photos and a detailed report from my end will be forthcoming. Congratulations again on a successful Grand Opening Robert, I certainly wish you continued success.

Was running around this weekend but ONLY wore my RKilts Saffron leather kilt in honor of the opening. The pleats are well sat upon.
Glad the opening went well and hope the snow brought in many orders for leather kilts!

Robert,
I am SO sorry the audio on my Skype system failed to work, but it was great to see you, your Good Lady, your shop, your new Olive leather kilt (delicious!), your promotional posters - and the glass of malt you poured yourself!!! Had I been able to chat properly, I might have called again later, but the prospect of writing more notes on scraps of paper to be held in front of the camera proved to be too much for me.
Anyway, glad you all had a good time and, again, all Best Wishes for the future.
[PS: Snow!? It is unseasonally mild here, although we DID have a slight frost one night a couple of weeks ago!]
Take care,
Ham.
