Re: Show us your XMarksTheScot tartan Kilts

Wow, time to bump this thread up with the latest crop of XMarks kilts!

Here is Bob's new USA semi-trad in PV. I was going to order the fabric from Steve and make it, but with so much on my plate and Rocky's killer offer last fall Bob decided to have this one delivered.

It's a bitter winter here in Sun Diego

    Pleats

And a semi-Hamish, the best shot from several tries. My old, slow camera wouldn't shoot fast enough to capture the full action! At least he's smiling here, versus some others where you can almost read the "take the picture, dammit!" on his lips. . .
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

Re: Show us your XMarksTheScot tartan Kilts

    Just arrived today!
My new X Marks the Scot tartan kilt from Freedom Kilts.

I have been wanting a Kilt from Freedom Kilts for some time and then Steve posted a note about making off-the-rack kilts and I popped for it.

Arrived today and the fit and finish is great. I chose not to wear a belt or sporran so that the kilt would stand on its own.

    Thanks Steve!

I have not seen that style of pleating of the XMarks tartan before. I think it looks great. Great purchase and it looks tops on you. Well done
