As I've said elsewhere, I really do not like pink on a man; but on a beautiful woman? Oh, boy, you are a lucky dog, Jamie!

    McFarkus,

I picked up at a local hat shop for a whopping $8 or $10. Most hat stores have them (though generally with the ladies hats) in stacks with multiple colors. They tend to have a looser weave (if I'm describing that right) and are thicker than the military style berets with the leather trim and ribbons in back. I think they are a nice (and reasonably priced)alternative to a balmoral bonnet. They give an outfit a less flashy look as a balmoral as well.

    Cheers

I've been waiting for everyone to have a chance to read Panache and Star's review.

Guys, thank you for a wonderful photo shoot. You do our work proud. I'll make sure Erin sees these in the morning when she gets to the shop.

It was a great pleasure to work with Jamie and Star on these Kilts. We had quite a few Skype calls back and forth working out the pockets, Pleating, and details. It really makes a difference when the owner has a say and input to their Kilt.

So, to you both, again, thank you. Wear them for many years, in good health.

    Ahem!

    ...gave to me!

It is a favorite because it was a gift! from my lovely wife!

However it was only temporarily on my new IoS Freedom Kilt.

Now I have had a lovely pin for the last 20 years which I dearly love but seldom have had occasion to wear. It always seemed like it would make a good kilt pin, but I wanted the right kilt/tartan to wear it on.

My IoS Freedom Kilt was the one. I popped off the simple light-weight straight pin back and epoxied three "tie tack" pin backs in its place.

I think it goes well with the tartan

I believe it is a Japanese crest or kamon.

    Cheers

    Jamie

Well, would you look at that: A one-eyed kilt snake! I never thought I'd see one of those here.
