Centered external box sounds like the original Kinguisse -- do your knife pleats face the apron? If so that's Kingussie, RevK is just the opposite. I've heard that original K makes it easier to sweep pleats, would be interested to hear first-hand.

No, it's reverse K with the pleats all facing toward the center rear. I put one big box pleat right down the center of the rear so that the flat 2.5" wide box is showing rather than having the edges of the knife pleats meeting along the middle of the rear like in a UK.
I'll get a photo up when I can (hopefully without causing Alan to rupture something critical).

At Last
WoooHooo now I can start on my hemp RK and my Predator camo RK for my hunt this year! This will make the family SO HAPPY my office/sewing room/bear den has been turned into a bedroom for the grandkids so I WILL BE doing all my work in the living room, it will be quite educational for the grandkids as I usualy kilts into existance

thanks for the time and effort yall put into this manual, i have 2 X-kilts down as of now, and more to come. i saw some tan duck at wally world last week, im going to have to go pick some up and start a new one.
