Kind of like a horse hair sporran...

Had long hair till last October (past shoulder blades). In a fit of boredom I decided to try a shorter look (shoulder length), and then the person who cut it cut about three more inches than I intended (so that's the back of my neck). The hair is coming back slowly.

Hair? I still have some!!
Lets put it this way...when I first met Mr. Kilt, aka Al Sporrano, in Las Vegas, he thought I might be Ron Macdonald!!! Sure, I have long hair...but only seven hairs on top and I am hoping they go to seed!

I had long hair, down to my mid-back, in the 70's.
I have kept my head shaved for 12 years, now, except for an 6-month period, in 2007-08.
(At the end of those 6 months, I fully realized why I shaved it, in the first place.)
I will stick with the aerodynamic look, for me, from here on out.

I've thought about combing my hair with an electric beard clipper... but I kind of like having the long hair at this point. Oh well.

I do have some thinning going on, due to my wearing it tied back 99% of the time. Usually means that I have to go for a much higher than normal 'tail, to help keep the thinned spots hidden.

There have been several guys called John on that board, but your picture here is tiny! Too small to recognise you. OK, so I admit I don't have a picture here atall.
