Not only will I be teaching Kilted, but starting this Monday, I will be promoting National Tartan Day with my students. Who knows....
I had a student on Friday (I've decided that Friday's will be Kilt Days, since I now know that I will get no flack from my Principal) ask about where he could get a Kilt, he thinks they're "Rockin". So of course I mentioned a couple of ouir fine sponsors to him.
Cheers,

A co-worker and I will be sporting tartan that day. I have to bring a Scottish Snack in for my co-workers. I think this year will be caramel coated shortbread.

The video production class at my high school is putting together a
short piece about tartan day. I'm helping them with the research and the text, and will certainly be providing some examples of tartan for the video. By the 6th, I hope to have lots of interest built up (or at least some awareness) and will turn out in a kilt and jacket. No doubt my son (who is a senior this year) will be piping in the halls as he did last year. Should be fun.

Yep, since I'm the boss at work, I think I'll issue an office-wide edict that anyone who wishes to come to work kilted is not only allowed to do so, he is encouraged to do so. (I'm the only guy in the office--2 female employees--so I'll probably be the only one.)

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
