Hamish, according to expedia.co.uk it's around 200 quid return from LAX to Atlanta so next time you're in Palm Springs?

Still, £200 is almost a new kilt. Ooooh, decisions-decisions

Hope you make it. I'd love to go myself but currently lack both the excuse and the where with-all. I'd have to take my entire brood and from Manchester, that would run to a bit more than £200

It is kind of you to have checked that out John but, until this credit crunch thang is over, I doubt I'll be getting anywhere further than the Isle of Wight for a while - other than my already arranged trips to Edinburgh in July for The Gathering, and Dumfries in January for the Ferintosh Burns weekend, of course. Also, I came home from the USA with three more kilts than I went over with (photos coming soon), so it's going to take my Bank Manager a while to recover.

    Take care,
    Ham.

    Hmmmm....

I wonder if the jacket is about a 40-42 and the kilt a 34-36" ?

I also wonder what security measures Matt has at the Museum....

    Hmmmmm...

Umm..... Jamie, I have a conflict of interest and a moral and ethical dilemma here. While it is not unreasonable to assist a mod when he needs help, to consider larceny against a fellow XMTS member (Grant excepted) who resides in my home state, is a prolific supporter of kilting and all things Scottish, and a founder member of the Order of the Dandelion is not an activity that I can reasonably support.

Consequently, I will not be reporting to the gondola for this assignment.

Just more incentive to get back to the area. To meet Matt and go to the museum. The picture of the two of you is awesome.

If and when you do please let me know it worth the drive down. You would enjoy seeing the museum I'm sure of it, and the box pleated kilt suit really is something that I would love in my collection as well.
