Great photos, all! Thanks for posting them.
My kids are mad because I get sick pleasure out of telling them all the great things my wife and I are going to do once they move out, like our month-long trip to Scotland and Norway. One item on our list is getting a dog, most likely a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

We've got two Border Collies that are definately members of our family, and they go great with the kilt!

....Goes great with a kilt?!?
Unless I switch to Menzies, or perhaps Douglas Grey, no. Mine sheds a whole bunch.

The Soft Coated Irish Wheaten Terrier has a wonderful disposition. Perhaps the world's sweetest dog.

I don't know about y'all, but this cute little fellow showed up in the dog parade at the San Antonio Highland games. I think his name was buddy.

I have always been fond of the Wolfhounds.

I love the sheep in the parade, surrounded by Border Collies. Bit of a reversal there!
I love the Border Collie myself, although I've not owned one (I like to think my dog is part Border Collie, but I have no proof of that).
Have you seen the bumper sticker: "My Border Collie is smarter than your honor student."?
Be well,

Our wee dynamos, Maggie and Fergus. They are great companions and nobody can come near the house or yard without them letting us know. They had many people asking to take their pics at the San Antonio Highland Games.
