Far be it for me to volunteer for anything, but to help a damsel in distress,so to speak, if you are looking for a handsome(ish), dashing(once maybe), kilt wearing(sometimes), hardworking(!?), downtrodden(absolutely), farmer(ish),Scot(with English accent) type of person to help(star!) with your book, then look no further!

Darn, if only you wore your kilt all the time and had a Scottish accent you could be the leading man in my book

Maybe it's not your time, Jock. It sounds like she wants Duncan from "Monarch of the Glen".

Good advice up above... free-form writing is usually what gets me out of my block. And it's a hard thing to do, but don't let yourself be your own enemy and kill the story before it's on paper! Doesn't matter how bad it is (and it won't be), once it's on paper you can tweak it. If you keep it all bottled up, you'll never have anything to work with
