I know that there is only so many ways you can go with a dress uniform, but how can the Air Force seriously make a proposal like that.

Actually, that proposal is dead. The new suit is going to look like this:



Some people call it the "Hap Arnold" uniform. I call it the OMG will you stop uniform. The current uniform, for all it's failings, looks better than this! Glad I retired from the Air Guard last year.

Actually, except for its colour (GBD shade 47), it looks very much like the RAF uniform.

Oops - forgot one note. The lapels are being changed to smaller notch style lapels - that is the only signficant change from this design.

I'm a fuddy-duddy. I really don't care for the Class B uniform; the white shirt/blue trousers look like a French traffic cop.

Of course, opinions vary and tastes differ.
