The Star Wars tartan should be "Guiness" in honor of Alec but somebody would have to design it first. Dark brown with cream colored lines, just like the beverage.

Bring me the head of Jar Jar Binks! That's the sporran I want. Ewoks would be great for the sporran trim and perhaps a pair of highlander boots!

Well. Scotty was seen in a kilt in one episode..."Is There No Truth in Beauty" I think.

Here are some links to pics...I can't manage Photobucket. Perhaps one of the other more advanced lads can.

Here is one of James Doohan at an awards show kilted http://www.jozjozjoz.com/images/scotty-doohan-kilt.jpg

And here is the only pic I could find of him from the actual episode. Same tartan?

    EDIT: oops! Better pic! http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/me...ty_in_kilt.jpg

Just don't accidentally flick it on while it's in your hose.

Wow - Cool, another reason to buy the new BluRay TOS-Sets

Wouldn't the Black Watch tartan be perfect for, say a MACO? Imagine a MACO dress uniform jacket with a Black Watch kilt ...
Gotta get myself a Type-1 Phaser to tuck into the kilt hose and a tricorder on a sporran belt...

    Gods, I'm such a geek

Thumbs up Kirk? Nae, Lad, SCOTT!

I say SCOTT Red or SCOTT Black and White which seems to be what James Doohan actually wore in the 2 different episodes and wore to the TV Land awards in real life. I've even seen the picture of a Starfleet officer's jacket from Star Trek I-III paired with a Scott Red piper's plaid and a Scott Red kilt. For the Irish fans of Star Trek who prefer The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine like me, there's always O'Brien tartan if you're a descendant of Brian Boru like Chief O'Brien is.

Also: Wear your phaser like a dirk from your belt and tuck one of those big Klingon daggers in your hose top. Go Boldly!

PS. Star Wars!? Wrong galaxy, dude, but maybe the Order of the Jedi have a tartan. And of course you'd wear the lightsaber on your belt along with a bantha-hide sporran.

    What about "New World Celts"

New World Celts might fit the Bill.

I think Frugal Corners is the only one that has it. ith:
