I've been looking for a new brown kilt belt for daywear and search brought me to this thread. Very nice, Panache!
I might not need to search any further but does anyone have any other suggestions? It's always nice to see other options. Searching the internet specifically for brown kilt belts mostly brings up the standard belt.
I do have one that a friend made for me with an old style brass buckle that I wear re-enacting which works, but I'm looking for something snappier. I know almost any wide belt could work. I'm wondering what others have found?
BTW, the price listed on the SWK site for that embossed belt and buckle is almost half of what I would have expected.

And I'm sure that you look thoroughly dashing even when barefoot in that kitchen, although the shoes and hose you donned for the photo look great with the outfit.

Do check out Cavscout/Steve's fine work at http://oconeeleatherworks.com/Belts.htm, as well as the belts available through Slohairt/John at Keltoi (http://www.gaelicclothing.com/beltsbuckles.htm).

I like that your brown belt has a dressier look than most brown kilt belts I've seen (including my own). It can work as day wear with a polo shirt but also go well at a nice dinner out with a button down and tweed jacket.

It has gotten a lot of use since Father's Day.
My other brown kilt belt is a simple one with a double roller buckle and I think it works fine for casual outfits. However it never looked quite right with a
a tie. This one works much better for "smart day wear"
