Pardon my ignorance but pretty much every social group I have thus far joined had a simple click to join button on the group page but for some reason I cannot find it on ours. Some members of the group have already figured out how to join but others have not. possibly because of the same problem I discovered above after getting a PM from an interested member having diffficulty joining. So I have personally invited anyone who has posted thus far (but not yet joined) to join by sending out an invitation to join, which I believe should get you in.
Can one of the mods check to see if the group page is working appropriately, and if so post a brief instruction on how others can join, as I have not figured it our for our KFF page? If it is not working right can a mod figure out how to fix it so others can join directly? Thanks.

I wasn't really paying too much attention when I did it. But, I think that I clicked Quick Links, under Networking chose Social Groups, under Available Groups chose Kilted Flyfishers on the list of groups, and along the bar of the top box where KFF is described I clicked Join Group in the right-hand corner.

Sure you are welcome.
Newbies are welcome, as are the aspiring or even seriously curious, just like here at xmarks.
Well, in that case, count me in. I've been interested for a long time, but have never had the chance to try my hand at fly fishing. Maybe I can pick up some good pointers from you fine kilted folk.

So everybody who wants to join use the technique Tyger described above to join. I guess the "join Group" link was disabled for me when I looked becasue I was already a member of the group. DOH!!
Thanks Tyger.

Yep. Only thing you could have selected was Leave Group, and we wouldn't want that!

It would appear that I accidentally got an invite. I do not flyfish or even fish. The only connection I would have with you would be to haul your lost deep water bretherin back home to safety. As I cannot contribute anything more than the occasional smartass comments I'll decline and leave you fine gentlemen to safe the rest of us from rabid brook trout. I'm glad that you can keep Jock in the loop and hope that he too can soon be casting at his local fishin' hole. It also appears that there is a small difference between flies used on either side of Atlantic and that you have found a forum to celebrate such.
