So far, I've only got three (and only a pic of the one):

--a Buzz Kidder country sporran (my first)

--the utilitarian Stillwater nylon cargo sporran (everyone should own one)

--and my main "first line of defense"--the Thorfinn #109 (Turpin makes a NICE sporran, and buffalo hide ROCKS!)

Who did you get the sealskin sporran from on ebay if you dont mind me asking, was it a new sporran or a "previously worn" type item?

Keep in mind he's in Scotland. So, the sealskin issue does not apply.

Good to know, just curious if it were one of the current sellers there. I thought I saw a faux seal-skin sporran there one day but not sure if I remember correctly or not.

    I will second that.

The buffalo hide is a wonderful, soft, yet durable leather.
Turpin does in fact make a wonderful sporran!

I'm in the process of buying a couple more - a casual leather and a less-fluffy formal!

It does now, since the ban goes into effect next month, I think.

I meant to say "atm" at the end of that. However, it didn't affect him at time of purchase was my point...
