I am very sorry to hear this news. We may have different words for it, but most of us know the power of our "intentions." My family sends ours to yours in our thoughts and our prayers.

That's a rotten deal, friend. I hope the messages here help give you and your friends and family the strength to fight the cancer and to live your life to the fullest. You are in my thoughts and prayers, God bless.

Very sorry to hear the news. Wishing you a better, more comfortable and longer life than you expect. Know that because of your contributions to XMTS, people all over the world are sending you good thoughts, even the lurkers and other members who don't know what to say, I would imagine.
Regards,
Rex.

My prayers are with you.. The secret to beating / fighting this is the willingness to fight and not give up.. Fortunately there are programs out there to help make this a realistic battle. I lost my dad two years ago to lung cancer and my mother was diagnosed earlier this year to the same type (neither are/were smokers) mom is cancer free now.... The odds are in your favor.. As I said.. My
prayers are with you and yours...

Craig - my first reaction was Ah S**t!. Then I read Jamie's post and realized that I could not have expressed my feelings any better.
In the Jewish tradition, our temple says a Misherberach (prayer for the sick and for healing). I will add you to the those we pray for.

Craig:
I will be sure to add your name to the prayer list at Mass tomorrow. I will also light a candle at our parish shrine. God bless you my friend!

RR, you know that you and Diane, your family are in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do to be of assistance, let us know. You have my numbers as well and I am glad that Franks has helped keep us informed.

Red, you know I work with Cancer everyday, and there is alot of truth about surrounding yourself with love and good thoughts. It may not be the answer and cure, but I have seen a better life with those who do. In my Humble Medical Opinion, I prescribe a Kilt night whenever, whereever you need one. Being with those who can make you laugh is life's greatest medicine. Just turn the BatLight and we'll come a running
