I will have a dram to celebrate and remember the life of a fine gentleman. I only knew the man through his writings – but his words have spoken volumes.

I decided Craig would want something fun, too, so I have a local band called The Potcheen Folk Band on right now- my favorite, Pog Ma Thoin.

Check 'em out! Think Craig would have liked this particular tune?

Pog Mo Thoin happens to be the song that plays on their site...

I'm now listening to the Hooligans version from their latest CD The Justice Evil Brings.

In memory of Retro Red, I played AG, then followed it with Wide Rover. As a novice piper, AG came out OK, but Wide Rover came out like I had several drams before playing. God be with you Craig.

At 9:35 Pm(EDT) last night, I watched these two Royal Scots Dragoon Guards videos, to honor Craig as the memorial service was in progress.

Although it is natural to feel sadness at the loss of one we knew, I believe the best tribute we can give to Craig is to live our lives with love and laughter. I believe he would want it that way.

    So shed a tear

    Raise a glass in toast

    Enjoy life

And when things get rough, meet them with defiance and humor:butt:

So long Craig. We'll miss you.

I drank Laphroaig Quarter Cask last night that Craig introduced me to. I also played Amazing Grace and various piobaireachds in honor of him. Good-bye my friend and save me a seat.

Anyone who attended the service care to share the experience or photos?
