Of course, it proably goes without saying that it is important to make the tat personnally relevant in a timeless way. That way you will never tire of it. The name of your latest girlfriend may not fit the bill Or at least I think it is important.

Supposedly when Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder were a red hot item Depp had "Winona Forever" tattooed on his arm. Later, after they split up, he had the tattoo partially removed. It now reads,

"Wino Forever"

Just something to thing about, that's all.

My right leg, a sgian dubh - it is behind another version of the Urquhart clansman badge, it is 'strapped' to my leg. I have a small collection of sgianan dubh, about 40, but I rarely wear one, this is my usual one.

Bravo, man! Who needs a sgian when you have THAT! For what it's worth, I know two other Urquharts who have the boar's head tatooed in the same place. I have a cousin who was considering the Chief's crest badge as a tatoo as well, but I don't think she's followed through as yet. Myself, I'll remain a blank slate for the foreseeable future
