Very good job for your first attempt. It was truely interesting reading the postings about how things were going and all the great advice you received, especially from Mrs. Tewksbury. Between the advice that she and others gave you certainly ended up with a beautiful looking kilt. Wear it with pride.

Isn't Barb a great lady??? I've had several PMs and email exchanges with her in my time here in Afghanistan. Have not yet had the pleasure of meeting her...but since she's a fellow upstate New Yorker, I'm envisioning a family day trip to go see her and see where "the magic happens" (aka Barb's sewing room!). I've read the book and the appendix cover to cover...will probably do so again prior to embarking on the first kilt. My first will be a gift for a friend who just took advantage of the great deal on the Regimental Black Watch fabric on ebay. Fabric is in his possession waiting on me to get home from Afghanistan. How great would it be to watch Barb work "live and in person"??
