To answer truthfuly I stopped at country club, but skiping that step the Utopias is where I would be If I hit the lottery. Other than that there is a lot of good beer on this list and I love them all.

I’ve got our drinks in for our New Year party. Unfortunately, the Omani permit regulations confine me to RO 150 (USD 390) max for December and I spent already RO 40 of that at Christmas. Never mind, we still got in 5 bottles of tequila (Filipinos like tequila) plus 3 x 5 litre boxes of wine plus 6 boxes (6 x 24 x 550ml) cans of lager. The beer comprises 2 boxes of Kronenburg 1664, 1 box Amstel, 1 box Fosters, 1 box Tuborg, 1 box Tiger. Tonight, a friend is letting me use the balance on his permit to get 3 boxes (3 x 24 x 550ml) cans of Grolsch, so we’ll have 9 boxes of beer. We’re expecting about 30-40 people but I think my beer stock should be enough as some of them don’t drink beer and some don’t drink alcohol. I’m laying my house-bar open so they also tuck into my malt whiskies, cognacs, bourbons, vodkas, white and dark rums, cachacas, arrack, absinthe and pastis etc etc. No B-52’s this year though, I don’t have enough on my permit for at least 2 bottles each of Kahlua, Bailey’s and Cointreau (Filipinos love B-52’s). They can have Zombies though !

I just returned from PA with two cases of Shiner Bock! (Nectar of the Gods, how DO they make it so cheaply?) and I am a very happy man...Happy Hogmanay to All!

Yes, probably a good thing...I only add lime to a very cold Mexican brew, and only drink those rarely.

    Oh Yeah!

I came up with a Newcastle. Not Bad...
Here in New Mexico my other favorite is a Negro Modelo, WITHOUT the lime. No sense in mucking up an excellent Viennese Ale (and Modelo Especial is a Viennese Lager as I understand).
