Cuba....right....
I'm olde enough to remember when Americans thought Castro was a "good guy."
And I was a freshman in Navy ROTC during the missle crisis when we were called to the armory and given the firing pins for the 1903 Springfield rifles we drilled with. Anyone who doesn't think the U.S. mobilized to the fullest extent possible back then only needs to know the ROTC kids were given the firing pins for their drill rifles...no bullets...but the firing pins were ready.
Gonna pass on the cigars too. Quit after chain smoking cigars to the point of nicotine poisoning...like having food poisoning or the flu...no fun.
Would love to visit Cuba but don't know if the border folks would let me come home with a Cuban stamp in my passport...the World is getting smaller.
Okay, back to packing kilts...
