If I had an atlatl, I'd paint it with glow-in-the-dark paint and put some noisemakers on it, so I could always find it when I needed it.
It would have to bee a very large bat to make a sporran...

Ooh, think of a full-mask Flying Fox sporran for Samhain (Hallowe'en)!!

The only thing currently on my want list, is a dirk (battle-ready of course).
That should keep the hippies at bay.

At this stage, I'm quite pleased with my kollection and could conceivably dress from informal to formal in my kilt. It would be nice to upgrade things to be made to measure, bespoke, custom, etc but that is not within my student's budget.
The one thing I might try to find is a tattersall shirt. I'd like to see what the fuss is about...

They look nice. Understated stripes do, too. Clean, classic look.

Having just acquired a nice daywear jacket at a thriftstore on Grassmarket in Edinburgh, I'm good for now.

That reminds me, I need to experiment with using broken glass bottles, etc, for grafting and bark removing tools. My knapping skills are not very good though.
The thought of a copper sgian dubh is appealing, along with copper embellished accessories; though the silver and turquoise is fairly ubiquitous around these parts.

Are you mods REALLY going to kow-tow to such foolishness?
Actually, I found the post helpful. My wife had been looking for tartan wear like that.
