I've contacted Matt Newsome about making a Box Pleat, remainder will be used for inserts in a black X-Kilt. Dale that pin is fantastic, it's also out of stock LOL

Matt's got me in line for a 6-yard knife pleat. However, I'm down for a 9-yard order, which actually comes to 18 yards single width. I'm not yet decided what to do with the rest. Thinking of a Kingussie. . .But maybe a totally soul-destroying "kilt suit" adding a waistcoat and Argyle jacket to the kilt. . .

With at least 5 kilts to make of the "Tartan that should not be" it sounds like Matt is going to have to wear some protection against the Eldrich forces.

Wasn't one of you getting an eldar sign pin? Send it with the fabric to protect him.

I'm planning on casting it in pewter, but I don't know if it will be ready in time to save poor Matt.

I think Matt should wear a St Ninian's tartan kilt while working on these. . .

If he doesn't, we might just one day find him, curled up in a corner, meeping.

I've been told I need to chime in on this thread, although I'm ashamed to admit I've not read the books so most of the banter here is over my head!

Though I have to say it's an attractive tartan and I look forward to working with it. Thanks everyone for their orders.

Now, I just need to get Ryan to explain all the jargon to me next time he's up in Franklin...

    Oh Matt. . .

Matt, my soon to be lamented friend. . .

. . .Please just try to fulfil those orders before the Stars are right for Them to come again.

Our bit is going to become a box pleat for himself and either a corset or hightly tailored waistcoat front for me (to wear over a blouse for Steampunk type occasions). I'm also planning on knitting some suitable bonnets and hose to make the most of the colour combination chosen. Can't wait to get started!
