Looking good, Steve!
If a man says something and there is no woman to hear it - is he still wrong?
My wife says: "yes!"

The tannin encrusting my tea ball (for finer cut teas) is the stuff of legend (and horror stories).
To put a long story short, don't mess with a man and his morning (or all-day) cuppa.

A proper cup of quality tea should be appreciated the same way as a wee dram of a proper single malt. In their place, both are something to be savored and enjoyed with respect. ( Those that don't appreciate them, can never understand the reverence held by those that do ) *

Much like there's a time for a real piss-up with whatever is to hand, there is also the time for TEA!
I do make a rather nice cup when the time is right*, but as I frequently make my tea at 3AM and re-brew until the rest of the house and world is up, sometimes quantity has the RoW over quality.
*I prefer Japanese Greens or Whites personally.
