*** to all that has been said
But for me it's really nothing more than because I can. No additional explanation or reason necessary.

For Gits and shiggles mostly! My first kilt started it's life as a table cloth and after losing that bet and putting it on I've developed a small collection. Nothing else like it and it's like having a hand full of aces my friends... I'm sure some of you out there know what I mean and will agree that the kilt plays!

I wear one of my 3 USA Casual kilts as often as I can, almost daily for comfort and always when traveling or driving our RV.
My 16 oz Wallace tank and 13 oz Clan Claus kilts are reserved for special events and festivals.

Cē - Comfort and convenience.
If needs must you can also crouch down outside pretend to do something else and have a pee without anyone knowing. Important when you get older! Not that I would ever suggest doing such a thing!
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
