Re: Steel Horses, any in your barn?
This is my trusty steed (and the Mrs.):

1994 Goldwing SE with California Sidecar Trike conversion. A bad lower back has taken me off two-wheels, but I find three are better than none.

Re: Steel Horses, any in your barn?
Thanks, Rob. We have really enjoyed this particular bike. And you really should post a picture of your Silverwing. Would love to have one of those to tool around town...as you say, not too big, not too small. I've been keeping my eye out for a 650, but those are getting to be as rare as hen's teeth.
And Santa Wally...sweet ride! Does the bike hit the RV trail with you, or do you keep it "down on the farm"? You must get all kinds of KUDOS from people riding like that. Next time you and the bike are in PA, give me a shout, would love to share a ride with you.

Re: Steel Horses, any in your barn?
My wife and I no longer ride, but we do actually have a Triumph Bonneville in our barn. The motor is all there, but the top end is off. My wife was planning on rebuilding it and never got around to it due to physical problems.

Triumph was a hot little number. There's alot of potential for fun there.

First bike was dirt bike...then 550GPZ...then 900 Ninja...then 15 years without a bike....
First cruiser 2002 Indian Chief

A good friend that comes to states every year for a party a brother and I host near NC SC border.....made an offer I could not refuse so sold to him this year. Replaced her with another newer model...
2009 Indian Chief

may pick up an old R65/6 in next couple years to ride around locally or convert to a old school cafe racer. ....but will always have an Indian in garage. I also really like older Triumph Bonnevilles but I look like a shriner or bear in the circus on one being 6'3" and 245lbs dry weight.
