I could be mistaken, wouldn't be the first time...
May only be true in Scotland.
No, it is the standard (modern) colours woven by D.C. Dalgliesh. Your tartan is woven by Lochcarron in their 'ancient' colours, which give it more of an overall, orangish tone, which I like very much. A weathered or muted version of the Chattan tartan does not exist on the market today, however, I am planning to have Dalgliesh weave the Chattan sett in their reproduction (weathered) colours, which will give it a much more subdued and 'earthy' tone that I am quite fond of.

Bruce's Scottish Wildcat sporran was made from a wildcat that was hit by a motorist along the A9 (motorway) near Newtonmore, Inverness-shire, Scotland. Bruce had the deceased animal made into a full-mask sporran by Kate Macpherson, and it comes with the appropriate and legal, sporran licence issue by the Scottish government - I have the same licence for my Kate Macpherson sporrans. So, Bruce has not broken any Scottish laws. A good amount of Scottish Wildcat sporrans exist within the Clan Chattan Confederation, to include the Clan Macpherson - my Chief, Cluny, wears one, as does several other Macphersons.

    Cheers,

First off, thanks for the explanation of the Cat sporran, I apprecaite that.

I work in a truck all day, as I am a lineman for a cable company & drive a bucket truck aka cherrypicker. Thus I can pretty much go anywhere I want for lunch & usually as long as I want. I began going to the "all you can eat" buffet-sytle places. Also, being a Scotsman, I hate to see anything go to waste, so when home at dinner, I would have at least 2 full plates of food. My wife is an excellent cook, & I am a close second.

When I began to get to about 228, I said enough is enough, having been 190 since high school. When I hit 44, weight began to build up. I just started to eat small or no lunch, & know when to stop at dinner. My doctor told me I could regulate blood sugar (I am not diabetic) by eating 4-6 whole fruits throughout the day. It really does curb hunger, I am not starving at mealtimes, or eating simply because "it is time to eat" I am now down to about 177. Hope you can take something from this...
