My Ancient blue Ramsay gets a good press. I agree with John about the Weathered tartan - I have one in Gordon and a lady in Edinburgh liked it so much so caught hold of it in the theatre!
My grey heritage looks black in poor light and people ask me "Is that a kilt?"

Of my tartan kilts, it's a toss-up between my Carolina and my Isle of Skye.
Like Alan H said, my camo kilts get lots of exclamatory comments: "I've never seen a camo kilt before!" "I have to get one of those!"
