You left out the part of the Hammer-Rama where you were winding up with the skinny handled 12lb hammer and it slipped out of your hands causing a nice dent in the back wall of the restrooms. I thought for sure it was going to fly right through the door on the women's side and take out the commode or sink. Justin hit the top of the street light pole but missed the lamp fixture.

All in all, we had a good time.

    HOW could I forget!

We should never have let Justin talk us into throwing so close to the "Public" Ha! (BUT it WAS wierd throwing with the littler handle. I guess that might be a LITTLE closer to rattan but it just flew right out of my hand!

I would sure like to see Justin get serious abot throwing again too cuz he is a Viking MONSTER and could BLOW people out of the water!!! That pole HAD to be 25 feet high and he HIT it from 40 feet!!!

Roger, what are those Voodoo rubber strap things you recommended on NASGA? I checked out the website, but I'm not real clear on what the benefit is supposed to be.

Did you watch the video? I think mostly what they do is allow you to break up scar tissue and SAFELY work out the stiffness in joints without pulling something worse. They have helped the pain of my epichondilitas from putting the rock wrong with just a couple of applications. They ALSO helped me with my knees joint as well. With four operations on my left knee, there is a lot of scar tissue tha builds up over the years and inhibits your range of motion, which just snowballs to the other muscle groups down the kinetic line!

I watched the video; but how does an extra tight wrap followed by range-of-motion movement work to relieve pain and break up scar tissue? I'm not doubting that it works but I just don't get it. I have a calcium deposit in my right shoulder wthat I'm rolling with a tennis ball to break up, per doc suggestion. Would these type of wraps help with that?

    Couple of things:

    1) it allows you to stretch in the corners of those joints that move several directions rotating them more than you might without them being held tightly together. So it can break up scar tissue but also stretch those almost ubnatretchable parts of the tendons where the attach

    2) it's like doing hot and cold without the heat and ice as you push blood out of the joint area then when you release it new and more blood, with it's oxygenation that helps heal can rush back to the area

Ease up on the ab wheel! You're not supposed to do 20 at a time, five reps is plenty.

Make sure your overhead presses are FAST on the way up and then lower slowly. That preserves your explosiveness while you build up more strength.

Thanks! Gotta think speed. OK, on the AB rollers. I'm thinking I might not be doing them right. Do you start on your knees?
