A minor miracle has happened. My little walnut quaich (purchased on eBay) has arrived in the nick of time to go to Grandfather!

We spent almost the whole day (Friday) at grandfather mtn. I got to meet Allen Sinclair and many other folks. This was our first gfm and we had a wonderful time. I will be back next year. It truly was a perfect day !

Also got to visit with @bonniegraham and help with her new quaich. She will have to share pics, mine didn't turn out. Thanks for the dram and the crackers!

Had a great time at Thursday's Raising of the Clans, then met up with XMarks friends on Friday.
        
I had to make a detour on the way to Thursday night's event at the Blind Squirrel Brewery in Plumtree, NC for a pint of Wee-heavy!

Made new XMarks friends with rloyd and his fiancee, and bonniegraham.
 
And met up with my XMarks friend asinclair and his wife.
