You are correct, you have failed to see the meaning behind my statement. The Canadians did a great job of containing the terrorists in this specific instance, however my comment was wider and more global in scope. With the policies of this forum forbidding political topics from being debated, I will refrain from elaborating further for edification.

As reported in the media, this is a photo taken just prior to the attack, the fallen Cpl on the left. The Chief of Defence Staff stated in his press conference today that the Guard will resume as soon as practicable.
