Hello from Nova Scotia

Hi,
I'm Julia, from Nova Scotia.. the "other" official land of the Kilt I have landed here so many times over the past 2-3 years, while searching for something Kilt related,and then always ended up lurking around for a while, that I finally decided to join.

I have been a kilt lover forever ~Ever since my dad casually mentioned to me once when I was about 6 or so that our ancestors came from Scotland. Since I haven't figured out how to move there yet, I do feel that moving to Nova Scotia was kinda like hitting the jackpot as Kilt wearers abound here.

I myself do not yet have a kilt, but i am working on that. Since I sew, I always figured i should make my own, and just never had the time. Now i find I do have the time, and my hope is to finally have one ready to wear to the Burns night dinner i attend every year. (which means I need to get moving on that)

As i said, I myself, do not yet own a kilt. But, my cat does. Which i will be happy to post a picture of, as soon as I figure out how!

Really looking forward to meeting everyone, and sharing our love of kilts
