I bought a kilt from them a few years ago and it too was mis-sized. After contacting them they gave me a credit to have the straps/buckles moved.

Yes the offered that to me as well but it is at least 2 sizes too big. I am a bit nervous about getting another side because this one is not actually marked 36 anywhere other than a hand written tag so is it really a 36? If yes i would be a 32 .

Now if I get a 32 does that mean the front apron will be 4 inches smaller? I also found it a bit wide in the front if that makes sense.

How much did you need to move the straps? I just find the front apron seems wide but I also know nothing about how a kilt should look

I seem to recall it was about 2 inches. As their sale kilts are exhires they alter the buckle/strap placement as required. I had a seamstress return them to the original position.
    Good Luck

Mine is brand new I think. I would have to move them 4 inches at least and am afraid it would make the kilt look OFF. I should have taken a picture wearing it while holding it snug for opinions. For sure moving some straps would be easier than sending it back. Cheaper too.
