I didn't have any "fire helmet" chaffing problems on my Appalachian Trail thru-hike, but I did need to use Body Glide on my inner thighs for my nuts chaffing. Some people swore by Gold Bond Powder (powdering their donuts), but I found that heals the skin into callouses, not what you want on your sack.... Anyway, I didn't have any problems with my fire helmet, but I do know that Body Glide works well on areas of skin nearby.

The Bodyglide website lists stockists only in North America. Does anyone know if it is available in the United Kingdom and, if so, where?

Its wonderful stuff Ham. But, looks like the name is used by a sexual lubricant company over in the United Kingdom..

I love the stuff. Used to use corn starch baby powder before I heard about bodyglide here...the powder gets dust everywhere in the house over time...

One nice thing...using BodyGlide seems to have reduced and even eliminated a lot of the "skin tags" a fat old fart like me gets from skin to sking irritation.

    Hope you find some...

Speaking of tee shirts, has anyone noticed the long tee shirts that now seem to be popular among the teenaged black kids? They are so long that to me, it looks like a dress. Where do they find them? The ones I have noticed don't seem overly large on the wearers, just very long. I'm not making a judgement, just an observation. Afterall, I wear what some persons incorrectly call a skirt.

Hey, Ron, IIRC, BodyGlide is sold as both an anti-chafing lubricant, but, as a sexual-aid lubricant. So, it may be the same company. That's what I remember from the Yahoo! UK group when we were discussing it over there. Still need to get some for use under my kilts...

Okay...I've been buying Bodyglide in the stick form, looks like a deoderant deal...must have me confused...don't think it'd work well as a sexual lubricant in that solid form...might be fun to have the lady run the stick up and down the pole to be lubed...or if she ran it up and down herself I might never get my turn.

Gonna stick to kilt use for now. Nothing better than pure jojoba oil as a sexual lubricant anyway.
