Okay, before this thread turns into eight consecutive pages of vitriol, may I ask you to keep your eyes open for 16-oz worsted wool gray fabric: something you might make an interview suit out of. If you could tell me who has it for how much, I would be grateful.
I found a good resource for the area: www.fabricrow.com. Sadly, only one shop seems to have a website, and even that site is bare. Looks like I really need a spy in the area.

Having followed this thread, when I was out last night at our local "Fabricland", I went look for wool tartan. I didn't find any. I did find lots of flannel tartan. anyone for pajama kilt?
Here we have to go to a highend , out of Montréal, store to get wool tartan. Trés cher. No 13oz. or 16oz. either.
It's more economical to have a tartan kilt made at Burnett's & Struth, which I can order through a local shop.

Jimmy...thanks for the info but you know of anything in the Dallas area?...Just kidding....I think I've hit everything in a 50 mile range!
