Snap. My buddy Mario is going to be joining us. He's not going to have his kilt in time unless he can magically get one in the next few days but he's gotten the cajones up to buy his first one and wants to come out and join us for this GTG.

Spent a couple of great hours there with Rocky and Kelly back around the first week of October and wanted to get back. Planned on shooting out of here early tomorrow and be there in time for the get together, what the heck it's only 600 miles. Unfortunatly, real life does sometimes get in the way of fun and due to operational commitments, I won't make it. Have a great time and hoist a couple for me.

Oh, all right. If I HAVE to hoist a few for someone, I GUESS I can do that.
Shame you won't be there. I have folks coming in from all over the region for this bash. All in all, chances are that I'll have a headache on Sunday morning.

I figured that would be lock and get loaded...
Ok, so I was up at 6 am, clear headed, bright tailed and bushy eyed, how about the rest of you? :P
Can't wait to hear how it went, hope it was a good turn out.

Hey Mike,
I got your email... sorry you couldn't come out! We missed you! You would have had a great time. There were about 10 of us in kilts including Mark from the Hooligans (the band that was playing).
I spoke to the head manager at the KOP Kildares location about having a kilt night there once a month. He immediately brought up (without me even ASKING) the possibility of drink specials or something to keep us coming back. Wait till I REALLY start asking for things (free cover charge, table reserved by the stage, drink specials, etc). Kelly may be the Scot at USAK, but I AM THE CHEAP ONE!
Magnus was looking good as usual ... I'll let him elaborate. Right now he's crashed on my couch and I don't think he's in the mood to type. The sound of the keys clicking might be to loud for him right now. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm not dead yet!
It was good putting some faces with names, even if they are a blurred memory.
Kildare's is a good venue for just hangin out with the boys. Finnigan's Wake seemed better for fomenting a real bawdy debauchery. I'm inclined to say if they don't give in to your requests, then lets just mix it up and cycle through a few different venues.
EDIT: BTW thanks again for giving me a place to crash. My DD flaked out on me early on in the night.

Did anyone else have a major headache this morning? I was actually happy traffic sucked on my way home... took a nap sitting on 202. Glad to hear everyone made it out safely. We NEED to do it again soon.
