    Day 13 – Merci Beaucoup!

My time was drawing to an end with Robert and Chrystel. I cannot express the depth of my gratitude for their hospitality and kindness for sharing their home and life with me. This visit was the perfect ending to my holiday. In two days I developed the feeling I had known them all my life. Merci beaucoup, Chrystel and Robert!

    Next – the trip home!

Your journey has been overwhelming just from this computer-chair point of view -- I can't imagine how wonderful it must have been to live it. Thank you for the time and care you have taken in recreating it for all of us to enjoy!

It is that, commonly known in English as plantain. But - if I'm not mistaken -Suze is made from or flavoured with the roots of blue gentian, which is a different plant.

Regardless, though ... what a great trip, and such lovely photos. Thank you for sharing.
