The funny thing is that a few years ago I saw the the young women were starting to wear heavy boots as fashion while the younger men were wearing sneakers, like vans.
I didn't think much about it until I had to get a part for my car and went to the local autoparts store where the young female manager had to tell her two male cashiers what, when and how to do just about everything in order to get the part that I needed, and these guys were not new at the counter, they were just not wearing the boots I guess.

Aye, Robertson, there most certainly is at least one in western Pennsylvania, home of the Fighting Scots. I used to swim competitively in high school and had many a meet at the school, which hosted at least two large swimming events a year.
