Glad to see the Missourian published that story, Royce -- did the Post-Distpatch ever respond?

btw, I noticed the comment in the story about the Gunns raising funds for the young man to complete his kilt "kit" -- so I take it then he could not afford the full "rig" for the dance?

    Cheers,

Those voting "no" probably were somewhat sympathetic to the man's position and responsibility. I can understand that the man has to put up with a lot of crap in his duties, but I don't think he's right on this decision. Of those voting, only about 5% said "no".

At this point he only has the kilt. He wore a white shirt and tie,,,,,,with some really awful white socks. This was a social dance. The plan is to get him fully attired for the prom in the spring,,,assuming he gets to wear it for the prom. When we do,,you need to run down there and lend him a hand getting squared away in proper fashion.

    Royce

There is a picture of him on the Scotsman article.

If the Gunns are accepting funds to help this lad get the rest, please post the site here, so that those of us who would like to contribute can. If, of course this is not infringing on our site.

Dispatch? Not that I know of. CNN either. ;) The Missourian didn't contact me, they called Tom. Got his number off the CGSNA website.
