As I'm still waiting for an answer after sending my first e-mails, and it seems that it will be a litle hard job,... I've also done meanwhile three new designs, these ones dedicated to Valencia Football Club (healthy envy for Celtics and "Gers")
There they go:
nr. one:

it was just for test.
nr. two:

This seems to have more sense: black and white for the team colours, green for the field grass, the colours of the "senyera" (valencian flag), etc,...
and definitely nr three:

It was just the same but changing a white line for a yellow one, I get also the spanish flag, now it iS PERFECT!!!!, DON'T YOU THINK?
¡Salud!

I think you should go for a symmetric design and keep it sort of simple (to start with).
Reduce the Spanish flag to yellow-red-yellow.
When you ask me to be honest...your designs look like a mess
The words of the famous french cook Auguste Escoffier:
"Fait tout simple"
...keep it simple ;-)
Keep up the good work!

thanks for the advice (and the rest!)
Thanx for the advice about designing in simetrical ways,... as I told once, I am just experimenting, and what I do is simply to leave my mind go free, in terms of "creation"!. When i am doing it, I always have the feeling that a simetric tartan can be a litle boring and repetitive... but when u finnish it, then you can see that a tartan, by itself, by definition,...is always repetitive!!!!
So next step will be to "educate" my impulses and re-create again certain designs in order to obtain smthg less,... messy?
About the spanish flag, it is red-yellow-red, as it is on the tartan,... the other one with 4 red stripes over yellow and a blue one at one side, is the valencian flag. The addition of that blue stripe is what makes it different to the catalan flag that u can see on the catalan tartan,... and of course, I NEED to set that difference, as they say that we are catalans also, and they don't accept us as "independent" of their cultural, language, historical, and political areas! As I told some times,... we live in a wanderful crazy country!!!!
¡Salud!
