It doesn't appear that the link Ron provided is an actual clan society per se:

There have been other efforts to facilitate communications between people interested in a Clan organization. But none of these efforts has led to any substantial progress toward a permanent organization. So it is here that we wish to provide a gathering place for associates of Clan Crawford. It should be noted that we use the term 'associates' because there is no Clan Chief to organize a Clan to which anyone may have membership. However, as an organization may evolve over time there may be in the future an Association to which membership may be petitioned. At this point there is no incorporated entity.

On another part of the web site, however, it mentions that the "Association" is now affiliated with the Council of Scottish Clan Associations (COSCA):

It might be worth the effort to drop them an e-mail and see what light they can shed on the status of the Crawford Association.

I didnt really do anything...I tried to talk to them and it seems to have worked on a broad spectrum. A lot of the rules on dress code slacked up and my Favorite Admin (the only one I like) said he wouldnt suspend me for it but he cant stop others although he would try to assist me. I havnt had an oppertunity to wear it again and its ripped anyways. Somehow I ripped it bowling. Im going to get a Utilikilt eventually. My dad still isnt to into the Idea of me wearing a Kilt to non-festival events. I think he wont mind the Utilikilts though. But the school has tightened up again and I almost got sent to detention for sandals. I would have gone if I hadnt blown of the teacher. I went to my class and just stayed so he didnt bother me anymore and nobody has said anything to me since.
