I have to agree with Moosehead: The previous two posts (by dmbellboy and highlander_Daz) have little or nothing to do with this thread and are way off topic.
KiltedCodeWarrior: Did you get hold of Rocky to order your kilt?

I wasnt politcizing it just expressing my displeasure at bellboys comments, -another example of overseas misconception of a very sensitive and emotive subject that has no place on this forum -and in the past Ive expressed displeasure at censorship however on this occasion I would like to see bellboys post deleted and mine as well -despite mine being purely sarcastic !

Thanks for clearing tha up, highlander_Daz...you're absolutely correct on the misconception bit and that this has no place here.
Can we get back on topic now?

Daz, I understood your post as being sarcastic. My comments were referring to bellboys.

Always a pleasure Id recomend that on St Patricks day it doesnt matter which Kilt to wear so long as you wear a kilt of some description, Ive actually got a lot of Irish relatives and some Irish blood, but strangly Ive never felt drawn towards Irish culture, I love the music and the place but I find Scots culture more comforting and familliar, but I once was lucky enough to see the Irish comedian Dave Allan live and I was in agony for days later as my sides felt like they had split he was so funny, his Irish wit was absolutly astonishing and thats someting the Irish all share the quick wit. Id reccomend Dave Allens Live DVDs or recording to capture the true flavour of Irish wit as opposed to the ridiculous stereotyping of Frank Carson and Jimmy Crickit.

Macsimoin, YES! Rocky said he would ship it Monday. Should be here Thursday or so!

Aye to dumping the politics...I was VERY angry when I read the post yesterday...was able to walk away. No place here. This board is a watering hole where all species are welcome.
All complicated for me because the blood of the various factions runs through my own veins...and there's solid hope for peace that only rabble rousers can disrupt. Too many have already died.

So removed, Daz. No politics, if you please, gentlemen.

Okay, OKAY!!!
I did not realize I would be getting your "natties" in a twist. I shall refrain from any what you call "Politics". I was just describing what I would be wearing on St. Pat's Day. I guess I went a little too far. My humble apologies...Nuff said!!!
Cheers...David

David,
Please read the forum rules and FAQ's:

There is good reason behind the ones not allowing polticial and religious discussions -- Xmarks is a pretty friendly house and the introduction of politics, especially "The Troubles" might take away from that.
I hope you can understand our reasons.
Regards,
Todd
