I'll be 60 in November. My wife and I will celebrate our 32nd aniversary in February. All 3 of our kids are raised. What seemed like a small house when they were all home, now seems rather small.
I certainly don't feel like I will be 60 - at least not mentally.

The GOOD thing about it for me is that I reached 2 of my 3 goals that I wanted to reach by 30... Buy a house and be Fully Self Employed.
It was a number...Just means that I feel better when I am carded for alcohol and the young ladies approach me as a 'young buck' of 25 or so. Only if they knew...
I too, am close to my goals...
married to beautiful woman (check!)
father of at least one great kid (check!)
CEO of my own company (check!)
own a house (check)
college (check!)
MBA (check!)
Ph.D. ( not yet..)
100% self employed ( almost )
Master of all I survey (in my dreams!!)
More kilts than Hamish ( ok...so that will never happen..but who said goals need to be completely realistic?)

OK, I'll cop to it.....!
I will do the big 50 in December. Jeez, where did the time go to??
Told the wife I was going to have a mid-life crisis and buy a Corvette and go to the Hair Club for Men.
She looked at me strange so I offered to buy just 3 or 4 16oz. 8 yard tanks. She shook her head and walked off muttering something I couldn't make out.
I think that didn't go in my favor.......
