That's a pretty darn good looking outfit. I think it looks great the way it is. As an option you could always wear a waistcoat. They are always flattering to the portly crowd. Think Burl Ives, he even wore one when he was a snowman. O'Neille

Hey, I am about 6'1" and around 53" at the waist... by no means I am a small guy in that respect. I still wear the kilt. It actually seems to help hide some of my girth.

Your kilt is fine. You look fine. Word of the day: accessorize. It really brings the look of the kilt out.

Edit: for some reason I didn't notice that there were more than 3 pages!
Heh. Oops! 2nd pic looks good... accessories... gotta love 'em.

    Oatmeal Savage:

I liked the first pic, thought you looked fine. The second pic does much better. Wear the kilt, wear it with pride---and know you look good.

Wow, thank you everyone for all the support. I will wear it with pride. I am going to alter a sports coat into a jacket using Alan H's instructions. I think a 3" belt is in order also.

    Thanks again
    Kevin
    Cheers

You can doubt us guys; but the first time a woman tells you you look great, you'll know wearing the kilt is right for you. Here's to many happy returns for wearing the kilt.

You look great, and that's the truth. Add a belt and a sporran and go forth in confidence.

Where is the "fat guy in a skirt"?

All I see is a guy in a kilt, which looks like he could deck ya, kinda savage

Kinda like a savage who eats oatmeal!!!

    Kinda like an Oatmeal Savage!!!!

The kilt looks good and will only look better with a sporran.

    Now you're talking!!

Let your heart lead the way.

Life is too short to be defeated by doubt.

    Enjoy that kilt!
