Thank you, Kid - nice to join in. Though I am a true fan of all tartans; having been tied to the military most of my life, it is a real thrill to go to the various Highland Games throughout New England and see the tartans of the different military branches. For you Coasties out there, I did find out last year that the Coast Guard Barque Eagle has curtains made from the material of the Coast Guard tartan in the ward room. I would love to see the tartan used beyond the kilt - ties, blankets, etc. and to help support the Coast Guard Foundation.
