Cool, looks like we'll be there. We're dropping our South African student off at DTW earlier in the day. Woohoo!
I'll be the one wearing a kilt.... no, wait... that won't work this time, heheh.

Damn, methinks if Lynn doesn't come with me, I'll be getting a hotel nearby.

No go on the piper. Too bad, I was really looking forward to playing for you fine folk. Ah well, more time for habanero beer!

Guys, next time, make it NOT during Holy Week!
You'll get guys from other states...like me from Ohio!
BTW, the Full Kilt is like two minutes from where I grew up in Mt. Clemens! I would definitely try to make it in the future.
What are you doing during Memorial Day wknd? I'm heading to Alma, as is my annual pilgrimage, where I met a few Xmarkers last time, including Big Paul!

I'm thinking every couple months at a different pub will be a nice tradition to start. Or maybe make the rounds to a few different ones.
I'm going to the Highland fest in Alma this year, it's an hour from home. My wife grew up North of there in Mt. Pleasant. I'm sure there will be a thread about it, but it not, please send a note as to when you'll be there.
Somehow, Lynn, my wife and our very own Auld Argonian decided that I should start participating in the highland games. This of course was on St. Patrick's day over SEVERAL doses of Guinness, so maybe she wasn't serious.

I'll be in Alma on Saturday at least, with my wife and two sons - we'll all be in Robertson Red kilts.
And if the wife allows, I'll be in a black "got haggis" tshirt. haha
