A couple of thoughts...
"By blood, not choice" is really stirring and all, but it seems to me to be far too serious for our lot. Take a look on any given day at what Grant, Robertson, Trefor, Craig, or yours truly posts. What we share here is best defined within the bonds of a fellowship which is why I advocate "In Kilts, Fellowship or Kilted Fellowship" or whatnot.
Battlecry? I don't think we need one. If I did, my personal one would be "Then out swords and to work withal" but that's just me.
Cheers
Jamie

Oh Gary, the commode is not actually considered a body part!

Whilst suggestions are still being lobbed into the slow steamer, I'll post these two which show just how bad things get after too many shots of single malt...
'Apron'd and pleat'd, we greeted'
...'cup of tea, luv?'...sounds like the kitchen at the parish hall on Women's Institute afternoon.
'Friendship chosen through yarn deftly woven'
...after a quick rub down with The Beginner's Book Of Poetry

Wow. While the poetry might be good for some circles, I think this is probably not one of them. I had visions of old english women in the 50's, sewing circles, and tupperware. A good laugh, but definately not for us. Thanks for sharing

I like,
"Semper Kiltus" Sounds Latin and Is pretty much on topic for this group. Or Maybe, "Friends, Kilts, and Good Times"
Or, "Friends Don't Let Friends Go Trousered" Here's one that I think really describes this group.
"Kilted on The World Wide Web"
Of course, We already have two Xmarks mottos.
"X Marks the Scot - A Kilted Community"
And
"You Don't Have to Be Scottish To Wear a Kilt"

Good points, Jerry. A kilted community. Hmm, I like that.

Probably better if they yelled in Gaelic.

Edit, that's just my two bits. I tend to agree with Phil that by the time everyone agrees the motto will be neutered to fit everyone's sensitivities.
This is for the Battle Cry, not the Motto!!
