Very interesting that a friend and I have been lamenting for the longest time at the cost and quality of these knives. He dabbles in knife making and has said he was going to make a demascus blade. You beat him to it.
I wish that there were better quality sgians availible for a reasonable cost.

Maybe already well known, but for those less skilled in the art and science of the forge or simply lacking such facilities, Atlanta Cutlery has several knife blanks in high carbon or damascus steel for Sgian Dubhs, dirks and other dagger styles.

I am contunually amazed
The talent present in Xmarks continues to astonish me. This is the first time I've come across the work of any of our blacksmiths - Wow! The sgian dubh is amazing.
